Foundation to Allocate $13 Million to 14 New Projects

Investment From BIRD and Other Investors to Reach $35 Million
The BIRD
Foundation for research and industrial cooperation between Israeli and American
companies announced today that it would earmark $13 million for 14 new joint
America-Israeli projects.
The
projects will receive investments equaling $35 million from BIRD and additional
investors.
The
companies chosen by the Foundation this year are:
In
computers and software: the Israeli Tidex along with IBM; and the Israeli AE-40
with Avaya.
